2018 Prohibition Tempranillo

Tempranillo is the principal grape of Spain from the Rioja Region. Thick skinned and moderate in acidity, Tempranillo means "early" in Spanish.  This varietal loves the micro-climate in parts of Northern California.  Our Clarksburg Tempranillo is a medium body red, which ages extremely well.  With hints of cherry and spice, this wine can reach astonishing complexity.  

Aged 18 months in 50% New French Oak Barrels.
